My civics engagement prompt

I liked the progess of the Louis and Clark game. This game reminds me alot of Super Mario. But civics version, with louis and clark. It seems to be making good progress keep up the good work.

I like the game I object! His game is a good idea, I like the fact that I get to play a lawyer basically. But one thing is a little faulty is the buttons in the game. I found it hard to click on the buttons like the play, instructions etc. They seem to change once you hover over them, maybe its a glitch. Either way I like this game its a good creative way to express yourself in the way of objecting. :P

This is our video of our paper prototype. The reason I put this up is because it has to deal with our game. Which relates to civics considering our game is about civics. This was our idea of our game, what we were basing it off of.

Research History 2nd amendment

We've already got an creative way to incorporate the history a bit more into our game. We will touch on the history on why exactly they broke away from England. Why they had to defend themselves against the British solders. We thank Rachel for the email this is gonna help us, in making our game a bit better.

How well do you believe the average American citizen understands US Ideals and how they are applied in government? Why does it matter?

They need to know what their rights are, and how they can use them properly. People need to know what the amendments are,and how they are important or should be important to them. If let's say someone gets in trouble because they are carrying a gun around thinking its ok. Well it is ok but they must have a permit to have the gun even tho they have the rights to bear arms. You must know and understand your rights so that you don't use them outta context. If you don't know your rights then they woouldn't know if their rights have been violated.

Weekly blog- 03/05

We did some more work on our game, and I got to work on my individual game. Everything right now is coming together but of course there is always something wrong with our game. So now we gotta go back and edit it even more cause people can't appreciate other peoples work. Oh well time to go edit more. X_X

In this game we quiz the player on their knowledge of the 2nd Amendment. Besides quizzing we add a little bit of fun to entertain the player.
