We've changed so much about our game. We've switched everything around, we can't decide what we really want to do.

OK so this week is pretty much the same as last week. I've added another hint to the game. I've got all stuff working in the game all we have to do now is finish up the other 2's part and combine them. YAY END OF GAME COMING SOON!

11/30 12/04

Working more on the games, so I created a little bit of fun to go through to actually get to the game. They basically have to go through a maze of stuff to get to the actual game. I thought it be fun and give them some entertainment in boring civics.

This week again was brutal. I think its funny how lame the people are being by making no sense in the answers were getting. So were gonna video chat with them soon and believe me we are gonna get our revenge. :) *BUM BUM BUM* I started my own game my game is gonna be BAMF! Its a horror theme game a point and click sort of thing. Oh well enough babeling peace!

weekly review woot

This week I finished my side of the game. I made my side of the game very tricky and scary at the same time. I also am starting on my own game which is gonna be awesome! I dont like working with teammates,considering I work faster than others and I'm creative. I'm not dissing anyone I'm just saying my own game is definitely gonna be better than a stupid civics game. Oh and the people in charge on helping us is doing the worst job ever. My friend asked a simple question and they answered back with something that made no sense. Then we asked for them to speak english basically and apparntly these people havent taken english or are completly stupid. We are doing something noone seems to knwo what theri talking about. They tell us to do it we do then a problem comes up they babble on and dont help at all. Idiots!

1.What is your game topic?

Civics

2.How does your game relate to civics?

We are practicing the right to bear arms. Which is the 2nd amendment of the Bill of Rights.

3.Being specific, with step-by-step instructions, describe your game in no less than 150 words.

You start at the beginning screen. Then you have to answer questions to continue into the game about civics. Later on you'll encounter the British, and you must use your right to fight them out of your town. There is also a mini game you can collect your own amendments. In the game you must get the questions correct to move on. Without the questions you don't get help from the general George Washington, Thomas Jefferson or an American troop. These are like who wants to be a millionaire life lines. You will get a 50/50 to narrow the answers down to ½. Then you get a poll vote one a percentage of the crowd thinks what it is. Then George Washington’s power up is his knowledge. This gives you the actual answer. This is our most important power up/life line. I thought of this idea to help out the player.

4.Describe how the player will learn more about civics when playing this game in no less than 150 words.

You learn how to correctly use your right to bare arms. What amendment is the right to bare arms? Also what really happened back then, but with a little bit of fun. Unfortunately we can’t make it super fun but hey we can try right? This game will be a shooter game/ trivia game. We mixed trivia with a shooter and history of a fore fathers and amendments. This was only because we have to do civics. But with our creative minds we can create anything from nothing. :) We hope you enjoy our civics game, don’t forget team MUFFIN TANNKS IS THE BEST! By the way that was our team name. We decided randomly to name our team that because were awesome like that. I really hope you enjoy this game. There will be definitely more games to come from team muffin tanks. Thank you guys for this opportunity!

It fits in considering its about civic stuff. So ya t here ya go, oh by the way civics is awesome!

6.Does your game teach about an ideal of government, a function of government, or about citizenship? Please explain

Sure it does, your learning how to protect yourself, and practicing your rights as a American citizen.

Last weeks review :)

Last week we registered for a civics game competition. If we win then we get a laptop with the latest flash on the laptop. I don't think I'll win. I'm working on a mini game, inside the game so that they can have a little bit on fun. Till later blogger PEACE!

Last week was pretty successful. The globaloria people came in and talked to us. Feels good to be part of the first people doing this. Feels good! Anyway the game is coming together good win or lose I love it! GO TEAM MUFFIN TANKS!

What is the coolest thing about learning to animate?

1.The fact we can make stuff that moves is awesome!

Is there any animation (in games or otherwise) that you admire? Why?

2.I like making them move and do stuff. Like to be able to create an object and make it move like a human would be awesome!

This weeks review

This week has definietly been frustrtaiting. The code was of course being very difficult! For some reason my game hasn't been going very well. But now I had some help I am back on track. All my buttons work, the code is working right, and I'm almost done with my part. Everything is starting to come together! YAY TEAM MUFFIN TANKS!

The week of 10-5to 10-8

This week we worked on our paper prototype. We cut out our characters, and recorded the video explaining what is going on in the game. Right now we are supposed to blog, and update our learning log. Which everyone is very frustrated!! No one really knows what Chen wants so were confused. Then we have to watch videos after we get this all done. Wow what a week!

Our game is about the 2nd Amendment, the right to bear arms. I didn't even really know anything about this except it was a amendment. This amendment is quite important because we need guns to protect ourselves in an extreme condition. Like someone breaking into your house! This amendment was adopted in December 1971 in the Bill of rights was also adopted at this time. This was an important to me considering guns protect people in bad situations.

Paper prototypes

Making the paper prototypes were pretty fun. It definitely was a bit hard, but we managed to keep our cool. Our game is gonna be quite simple but fun, also its got some civics tied into it. How cool is that!?

Most important!

I think the most impoirtant step is the tools. if you dont have tools how are you gonna make something? Another thing you need to know what the tools do. You can use the text to make a guy move. That would'nt work, or really make sense. So The tools are the most important in my eyes.

The bunny game

Ok so the game has been very difficult for our class. The code has been the worst part of it. Flash is pretty easy to work with but the code has been the main problem. We haven't been able to make the bunny move at first then the carrots wouldn't move. The wolf worked right away for me but didn't hurt the bunny. They should at least give the code some leeway with the capitals in the code it shouldn't really matter. Besides all that it has been pretty cool for me.

9/11/09 civics thingy

1.American Symbols Game:This game is quite easy. Very simple and plain.
2.Bill of Rights Match Game:This game was very short. It had no purpose just a paragraph and a yes or no choice.
3.Geography America:This game was fun at first. But Eistein is sorta annoying popping up every two seconds.
4.Redistricting Game:This game was very confusing and not very appealing to me.
5.Branches of Government:This wasnt much fun all u had to do is put a bush on a tree.
6.There Should Be a Law:There was to much to handle for one game. Needs to be a little more basic.
7.Pick 12:This was very stupid no one would really play this game if they had to.
8.Play the News:We couldnt play this game becuase it wanted us to sign up for stuff.
9.Bump the Birds:Didnt like it at all. Who walks around as a bird and does that stuff? There has to be some kind of action to keep someones attention.

Games I liked

The game I liked the most was the Cost of life. This game is a Life simulation. I really like games like that. Sims is most likly the more famous life simulation type game out there. There is a few others that are popular but Sims is more popular.

The hardest thing

The hardest thing to edit on this was to get the right header size. First I had to find a cute picture to edit. Then I had to find out the right size for the page so that it isnt to big. After all that I hit save and viewed it. It was perfect for the page so I had succeeded.
